UPDATE:
Houston County EMA Director Chris Judah says power has been restored to most of the City of Dothan.
Power outages have also been reported in the Taylor and Pansay area.
According to Wiregrass Electric Coop, over 312 citizens are without power in Geneva County, mainly in Western Geneva County.

DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN)— Red lights all along Dothan streets have gone out after severe weather ripped through the city.
According to Houston County EMA Director Chris Judah, Downtown Dothan, South of Downtown, and the west side of Highway 84, near West Main Street, is experiencing major power outages which have caused the red lights in those areas to go out.
Police Officers and first responders are on the scenes directing traffic.
Dothan utility crews are working to restore power in the areas.
Director Judah would like to caution drivers to be careful while traveling through the area and watch for work crews as they may be hard to see in the severe weather.
