DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — The board of directors of Visit Dothan has accepted the resignation of CEO Aaron McCreight after his federal sentencing in Iowa.
McCreight resigned as Visit Dothan Chief Executive Officer after he was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison on bank fraud charges Thursday, February 16, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
In a release, Visit Dothan praised McCreight for his work saying:
Aaron passionately and effectively lifted Visit Dothan to be the catalyst for visitor and sports growth in our area and instituted many positive initiatives. As a result, our organization and our community benefited tremendously from his work, dedication, integrity, and collaborative community support.
