Ivey orders for flags to be flown at half-staff for COVID-19 victims

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Gov. Kay Ivey has ordered all flags in the state of Alabama to be lowered at half-staff.

The flags honor the more than half-million Americans who lost their lives to the virus.

Alabama joins the rest of the nation in paying respects to the victims of the disease.

The flags will remain at half-staff until this Friday.
