DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN)—Dothan Judge John Steensland has upheld his decision to revoke the bond for well-known activist and public figure Kevin Saffold after being accused of becoming disorderly in the Houston County Courthouse.
During a hearing on December 8, after hearing evidence and testimonies, the court found that Saffold had violated the conditions of his release by being arrested for disorderly conduct.
With this decision, the court will continue to revoke his bond for three counts of first-degree financial exploitation of an elder. He was found guilty of the charges in September and has been awaiting sentencing.
After his arrest in the courthouse on December 1, Saffold was released from the Houston County Jail on a $300 bond for disorderly conduct, but his bond for financial exploitation was revoked three hours later.
