DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) —The largest dinosaur show in North America will be coming to Dothan this weekend.
Jurassic Quest is an interactive show for kids of all ages and families.
8,000 pre-sale tickets have already been sold, but are hoping to sell more to showcase all the different prehistoric creatures.
On Thursday, crews are putting on the finishing touches to prep for opening day on Friday.
It also has four baby dinosaurs and WDHN today got to meet Tina, who had just woken up from her nap.
Jurassic Quest will be held at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds throughout the weekend.
“We are not only fun here, we are also educating,” Dinosaur Trainer, but Elisa Marilys also said. “Maybe some favorite dinosaurs, maybe some dinosaurs you didn’t know about. We have a fossil table with fossil experts. We have a training show where the kids can learn to train a real-life raptor.”
Jurassic Quest opens Friday at 9 a.m. and the last day to check it out will be on Sunday.
