DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Covenant United Methodist Church’s lead pastor, Hays McKay, passed away Saturday at 65 years old. The pastor had battled cancer.

McKay served at Covenant for over 20 years and was diagnosed with cancer back in 2019.
He leaves behind his wife, Mara, a daughter, Lindsey, and son-in-law, Quinton, a son, Trey, and one granddaughter, Lilly Grant.
