DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — People in the Wiregrass will soon have the opportunity to gather and pray in community.
The first Thursday of May is National Day of Prayer.
This year people in the Wiregrass will meet at Omni Field across the street from First Baptist Church.
An organizer for the event says prayer is the only thing that is going to bring positive change so she invites everyone to attend.
“It brings the community together from every denomination,” Wiregrass resident, Deb Martin-Irby said. “And we have one od and it brings us all together to pray to him in corporate prayer.”
The gathering for National Day of Prayer will take place next Thursday at 6 a.m.
