Enterprise man charged with murder in shooting; victim identified

UPDATE:

Enterprise police have arrested Dorian Lamont Bell, 41, of Enterprise in a fatal shooting Tuesday.

According to a press release, the shooting happened after Bell and Amez Terrell Shipmon, 32, of Enterprise got into a fight. Shipmon was shot multiple times and died at the scene of the crime

Bell was later arrested when police found him in a wood line next to the home where the shooting happened.

Bell currently faces a murder charge, although other charges are pending. As of this report, he is in the Coffee County Jail without bond.

ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — Enterprise police are investigating a homicide that happened Tuesday evening.

At 6:52 p.m., officers were dispatched to a shooting on the 100 block of Lagoon Drive. Officers found a dead man with multiple gunshot wounds.

At this moment, one person is in custody, but the Enterprise Police Department has not identified the accused or the victim as the investigation is still active.
