PIKE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — On Friday, an investigation took place at Pike County High School due to a threat that was made online, according to Brundidge Police Chief Sam Green.
Green states that Brundidge Police along with Pike County Sheriff’s Office responded to the school and found there was not any violence taking place.
In response to an online threat, we had an increased law enforcement presence on Pike County High School campus. At this time there is no immediate threat, and everyone is safe. I would like to thank the Brundidge Police Department and the Pike County Sheriff’s Office for their quick response.
