AMVETS Post 23 members were one of a half-dozen organizations in attendance. They had information on various programs available to those who have served our country in uniform.

Following a day of bar-b-que and other summer delicacies, the night concluded with
a firework show over the lake.

July 4th event organizers say they like to “showcase” Frank Jackson State Park as a great place to go fishing, and just take a moment to “relax and enjoy life”.
