Ozark, Ala. (WDHN)—Ozark Chamber of Commerce Director, Rosmarie Williamson, says independently owned shops and restaurants there were hit disproportionately hard by the pandemic.

So this summer, she is encouraging residents and visitors alike to celebrate the sunny days ahead by visiting small businesses.

Her campaign is called “shop small all summer long”.

Williamson says right now, a brew facility and restaurant is being located in Ozark’s downtown square one of several new businesses planned for the Dale County.
