Highway 84 in Houston County has been reopened.

HOUSTON COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — A downed power line has caused part of Highway 84 in Houston County to shut down.

All lanes of U.S. 84 at Eddins Road, in Houston County are currently shut down, according to Alabama state troopers. The power line was knocked over by a construction vehicle around 11:15 Friday morning.

Alabama Power is on the scene now repairing the line.
