DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Dothan Fire Department and Dothan police responded to a Ford pickup truck carrying a utility trailer that flipped into a ditch early Tuesday morning.
According to initial reports, 3 firetrucks were dispatched to West Main Street and Beaver Creek Road at 8:46 a.m. Initial reports indicated a single-vehicle pickup truck wreck and carrying a flatbed that flipped into a ditch.
Upon arrival, WDHN spoke with Dothan police that was on scene. An officer stated said the driver lost control of the vehicle at his own will and the accident did partially shut down West Main Street for a short time.
Police said it was a utility trailer carrying a lawn mower and not the initial report of a flatbed turned over. The driver has no major injuries and was able to crawl out of the window before rescue arrived, police said.
