UPDATE:

EVERGREEN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Geneva County woman who went missing on Wednesday has now been found after crashing her car.

Police in the south Alabama town of Evergreen were called after Teresa Carlo overturned her car, according to the Geneva County Sheriff’s Office.

After the crash, she was taken to an area hospital. She is expected to survive her injuries.

DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. (WDHN) — Police in multiple counties are searching for a Geneva County woman last seen on Wednesday.

Teresa Carlo, 66, was last seen leaving a vet with her dog in Defuniak Springs in Walton County, Florida on Wednesday. That was the last time she was seen.

Carlo is described as being 5-feet-4 inches tall, 130 lbs., with strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen driving in a white 2009 Chevrolet Suburban with a license plate number: AL34AOAWW.

She lives in the Geneva County side of the Fink’s Mill Community, which borders Geneva-Covington County.
