OZARK, Ala. (WDHN) — Last May, the pandemic led to the cancellation of the Alabama Community College Baseball Tournament at Eagle Stadium in Ozark.
This May, a mask requirement is listed for this year’s week-long event.
Built in the mid-1940s, the facility has been home to minor league baseball and other major attractions over the decades.
Ozark city officials are happy to see things starting to get back to normal.
“Dozens of world series, 17 and under, 15 and under, 19 and under so it’s been a big benefit for the community, bringing folks into town and for the economic impact,”
In addition to tournament action, Eagle Stadium is also home to the Carroll High School baseball team.
