DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Dothan City Board of Education released evaluation results for the Fall of 2022

Dothan City Schools released the evaluation of Superintendent Dr. Dennis Coe and Chief School Financial Officer (CSFO) Stephanie Walker.

The results were presented to the Dothan City Board of Education by Mrs. Ava Cranmore of the Alabama Association of School Boards on Thursday, September 29th at a Special Called Board School Board Meeting.

The rating scale for the Fall 2022 evaluation:

  1. UnsatisfactoryPerformance is consistently below expectations and fails to demonstrate reasonable progress toward agreed-upon goals.
  2. Needs ImprovementPerformance consistently does not meet expectations.
  3. Meets ExpectationsPerformance consistently fulfills expectations and may, from time to time, exceed expectations.
  4. Exceeds ExpectationsPerformance consistently demonstrates high levels of performance.
  5. Demonstrates ExcellencePerformance far exceeds expectations and demonstrates exceptional quality and/or unique contributions.

The superintendent evaluation contributors were seven members of the Dothan City Board of Education, 13 direct reports, and three stakeholders.

The overall average for Superintendent Dr. Dennis Coe was; Board at 3.6, Direct Reports at 4.6, and Stakeholders at 4.7.

The CSFO Stephanie Walker evaluation participants were seven members of the Dothan City Board of Education, one Superintendent, and 10 stakeholders.

The overall average for CSFO Stephanie Walker was; Board at 3.7, Superintendent at 3.6, and Stakeholders at 3.4.
