SAMSON, Ala. (WDHN) — Samson Elementary students are paying teachers to break the rules at school Friday.

Students have the options to wear pajamas to school, wear a hat, bring a stuffed animal, or bring a football, kickball or soccer ball — paying $1 for each rule they would like to break.

School officials told WDHN it’s a fun way for the kids and staff to raise money for the school while doing something unique altogether.

The money will go to the school’s general funding account for textbooks, library enhancements and other expenditures.
