DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — If you’re a medical professional or a recent nursing school graduate, Southeast Health might have some good news for you.

Southeast Health will host a job fair on July 20 for registered nurses (RN), licensed practical nurses (LPN), and those who recently graduated. The event will be at Hanger 38 in Dothan.

According to Vice President and Cheif Human Resource Officer at Southeast, Kelly Hurt, the fair is from 6:00 o’clock p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and job seekers who attend the Thursday event will receive a $50 Hanger 38 gift card.

“They can talk to different nursing directors, they can talk to directors out of our ancillary service lines, where we have our cardiology programs,” Hurt said. “We have a lot of nursing positions that are not just necessarily inpatient. We will have leaders from those areas there and available for people to talk to about those opportunities.”

At this time, Southeast Health is offering sign-on bonuses for RN’s and LPN’s. The hospital is offering a total of $6,000 for nurses and $3,000 dollars for LPN’s.
