DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Southeast Health Foundation is gearing up for its annual “Champions of Hope” fundraiser.
But of course this year, it’s going to look very different due to the pandemic.
The fundraiser is going virtual with multiple walk lengths, spirit days, and a Facebook live celebration at the end of October.
After seeing the results of the COVID-19k, the foundation thought this virtual route was a good option.
“It opens up a lot for opportunities for us,” “We’re going to have a lot of things on social media, partnerships with businesses like chick-fil-a east coming up. So we’re really excited about the opportunity to go virtual and still be able to have the community be involved even if we can’t all be together right now.”
Registration opens on Monday, Sept. 14.
