TROY, Ala. (WDHN) — A Troy man is behind bars after a Saturday night shooting that left two victims with gunshot wounds, Troy police say.

On Saturday Nov. 27, at approximately 8:30 p.m., the Troy Police Department responded to the 400 Block of Aster Circle on the report of shots fired, according to a press release. Upon arrival, officers began speaking to numerous people along with a victim that had been grazed by one of the shots.

Detectives responded and began to process the scene as an investigation.

Officers were notified of a subject that arrived at Troy Regional Medical Center by personal vehicle and was suffering from gunshot wounds sustained from the shooting. This subject’s wounds were considered non-life threatening and was transported to a Montgomery Hospital for further treatment. The victim located on Aster Circle was treated and released at the scene.

On Sunday, Troy Police Department arrested Daryl Jerrell Davis, 31, of Troy, in connection to the shooting that occurred on Saturday night in on Aster Circle. Davis’ was charged with four counts of attempted murder and one count of discharging firearm into an occupied dwelling.

Davis was transported to the Troy City Jail for processing and later transported to the Pike County Jail on a $350,000.

This case is still under investigation by the Troy Police Department and additional arrest are expected in the future.
