PIKE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — A Sunday night crash in Pike County has killed a woman from Luverne.

A two-vehicle crash that happened at around 7:05 p.m. on Sunday killed Angel D. Schofield, 50, according to Alabama state troopers.

A Lincoln MKX driven by a minor was involved in a crash with a Chevrolet Colorado, driven by Mark C. Davis, 48, of Luverne. Schofield was one of the passengers in the Chevrolet Colorado and was pronounced deceased on the scene. 

The crash happened on U.S. 29 near the 166-mile marker, approximately two miles west of Troy city limits, in Pike County.
