Two victims injured in Dothan shooting; three-year-old victim in surgery

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — On Sunday, Dothan police responded to a possible drive-by shooting in Dothan that injured a three-year-old child, according to the victim’s family.

A family gathering at 1000 block of Grant Street was interrupted when a car drove by and an unknown gunman in the back seat fired at the victims.

Two victims were shot, a three-year-old child and a man.

As of about 7 p.m., both of the victims were in surgery at Southeast Health.

Two weeks ago, shots were fired at the same house but no one was injured, according to family members

A BOLO has been issued for a black Honda that was involved in the crime.
