DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — For Dothan boy, Trevor Bolling, he went from an ordinary sixth grader to a viral sensation in just days. Now that attention has got him a college scholarship.
After his singing video reached over 3 million shares on social media platforms, Wallace Community College felt moved to offer him a two-year fine arts scholarship.
Bolling describes the feeling as unreal. Following the video, he said he got calls from media outlets, friends, and family members— everyone knew who he was.
“It’s very kind of the people at Wallace I really appreciate it. I mean I just got two years discounted at Wallace which is really cool, I think it’d be a good school,” Bolling said.
You can catch Bolling’s next singing performance in play coming in the fall.
