Water World hosts ‘Doggie Dip’ to cool off some hot dogs

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — On Saturday, man’s best friend got to take a dip in Water World’s wave pool to support local animal charities.

The event titled, ‘Doggie Dip’ at Water World hosted dozens of dogs, and one local dog owner talked about why she and her furry companions came out to enjoy the day’s event.

“So we came out here with my two other dogs, Sissy, and Cooper, they both, all three of them like swimming, so we thought it would be a fun way for them to end the summer,” Chihuahua mix owner, Reagan McComb said.

‘Doggie Dip’ raised over $1,700 for the Dothan Animal Shelter, Wiregrass Spay/Neuter Alliance, and Angel Paws.
