DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN)—Wallace Community College is hosting the ‘A Southern Perspective’ art exhibit at its Dothan campus.

The exhibit will include seventeen prints from scanned film negatives by well-known photographer Jack Bailey.

Bailey, a WCC alumni, finds the beauty in nature and has tapped into the unique textures the world has to offer.

With his exceptional talent, Bailey’s art catches the imagination of the average viewer.

The photos incorporate traditional film techniques with a 21st Century flair. The film used to create this exhibit ranges from 35mm to 120mm medium format to 4 x 5 large format cameras.

“A Southern Perspective” exhibit will run from October 12 through December 1, 2022. It is located in Cherry Hall on the Wallace Dothan Campus and will be open to the public Monday through Friday, 7:00 p.m.
