RIVER FALLS, Ala (WDHN) — A U.S. Postal Carrier died Friday morning after a two-vehicle crash in River Falls.
According to River Falls Police, at approximately 10:00 a.m., 32-year-old Hannah Denae Lindsey was killed on her mail route when a Dodge Ram Pickup truck crashed into the 1998 Chevrolet Lumina she was driving.
Police say Lindsey was pronounced dead at the scene, and the pickup truck driver was unharmed.
Both vehicles were traveling southbound on Highway 55, nearly a mile north of the Highway 84 intersection.
The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the River Falls Fire Department, the Covington County Emergency Management Agency, and the Covington County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
