Wiregrass Memorial Day garbage collection schedules

WIREGRASS, Ala. (WDHN) — With the Memorial Day holiday upon us, here is a current list of garbage collection schedules in the Wiregrass.

Coffee County

All City of Enterprise offices will be closed Monday, May 29, in observance of Memorial Day, and no garbage collections will occur on that day.

Trash collection that is regularly scheduled for Monday will be picked up on Tuesday, May, 30. Garbage regularly scheduled for Tuesday, May 30, will be picked up on Wednesday, June 1. No other collection schedules will be affected.

All other curbside trash will be collected as time permits. Residents are reminded to have all garbage out by the curb at 7:00 a.m. on pick-up day.

Houston County

Houston County Sanitation will pick up garbage on Monday, May 29. Although this is a County holiday, there will be no change in the sanitation schedule. Please be sure that all trash bins are out by the curb at 6:00 a.m. on your normal trash day.

The City of Dothan’s Environmental Services Division will pick up garbage (green can), recycling (blue can), as well as yard waste, on Monday, May 29.

Monday route customers are asked to have trash bins and all other debris out at the curbside by 6:00 a.m.
