Woman motorcyclist seriously injured in Dothan car crash

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — On Friday morning a motorcycle driver was seriously injured by a car crash on Ross Clark Circle, police say.

Dothan Police Department Sgt. Andrew Davis told WDHN the accident occurred near the southside shopping center off the 2200 Block of Ross Clark Circle around 9:30 a.m.

Davis said a driver pulled out of the shopping center and unintentionally struck the motorcyclist that was traveling on the circle. The woman driving the motorcycle was seriously injured on her lower right leg due to the collision of the car impact

The injured woman was conscious and alert when Dothan Fire and Rescue arrived and immediately began treating the victim on scene. Responders were able to stabilize her condition and transported her to a local hospital.

Authorities have told WDHN that the woman is being treated for her injuries and remains stable.
