‘Main Street Enterprise’ launches new program to support local businesses


ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — Are you in the market for a treat or two or three?

Main Street Enterprise has officially launched ‘Main Street Money‘ a new program in downtown Enterprise geared towards helping small businesses.

Main Street Director, Cassidi Kendrick said the downtown area is really growing, last year a little over 500,000 people stepped foot on their main street.

This new program is one-way residents can support the many different mom-and-pop shops on Main Street.

“It’s a great way for us to get people to stimulate the local economy,” Kendrick said. “It helped all of the businesses because when we launched this they were really struggling, not that they are doing fantastic right now, they are doing better but last year it was really hard for all of them.”
