DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The NFL Flag Football Alabama Fall League is preparing to begin.
The league is open to all kids ages 4 to 17 years old. As COVID-19 still looms, State Director for NFL Alabama, David Mosley said kids will still be safe.
With some teams with kids 10 years and under, they aren’t eligible to be vaccinated, which is why they will have CDC guidelines in place.
There will be six games held on Sunday’s starting on October 24.
“We’ll have signs out, we’ll have masks available, hand sanitizer of course, flag is kinda a non-contact sport, so grabbing flags and being outside is really gonna help us with COVID,” Mosley said.
