OZARK, Ala. (WDHN) — The Ozark airport has made some more upgrades in order to attract more flyers.
In 2018, the airport added its first set of hangars and earlier this year, the second set of hangars was built. Each hangar consists of ten bays which means there are 20 bays where people can store their aircraft.
Adrian Holman with the airport says this is an economic engine for Ozark. He believes more hangars were needed since it’s such a busy airport.
“People are all time looking for hangar space we have space north of us that we can build 10 more bays and we look forward to one day where we will have 30 bays here filled in Ozark along with some corporate hangars that we have space for and along with corporate hangars that are already here,” said Adrian Holman, chairman of the Blackwell Advisory Council.
Holman says there are plans to add another hangar. That would cost close to 800 thousand dollars.
