OZARK, Ala. (WDHN) — Dale County and the city of Ozark take pride in their churches and the involvement they have in the community.

Multiple Dale County churches have played a part in several events, including ‘Make-a-Difference Day,’ which took place in late October.

The churches in the community also helped serve over 300 meals to healthcare workers, and then on Thanksgiving, 17 churches gathered to provide around 1,000 meals to people throughout the community.

Ozark City Councilman, Winston Jackson, says that when the churches come together, they all have one goal in mind.

“Regardless to whatever walk of life, or whatever denomination you come from, we’ve all come together for a common cause,” Jackson said.

Jackson also says that it is important that the churches in the area come together to show their love and support for the community.
