HOUSTON COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — Rehobeth High School will be closed Friday, January 14, and will move students to virtual learning.
This decision was made after a staff shortage hit the high school, leaving 17 positions unfilled.
According to Houston County Schools Superintendent, Brandy White, they expect to return in person on Tuesday, January 18.
Students are expected to do their assignments virtually, as teachers will report to school at the normal time.
Rehobeth Middle and Elementary students will remain in school as normal. All other county schools will be open as normal.
