Rehobeth holds first fireworks show


DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The city of Rehobeth, with the help of Salty Sammich and True Value hardware, will host their first ever fireworks show to celebrate Fourth of July.

“We are still going to practice social distancing so we kinda ask that everyone stay in their cars on the tailgate as a family and we’re just gonna have a good time and have a good firework show,” said Nikki Enfingers, owner of Salty Sammich and True Value hardware.

As a patriotic family Enfingers says her and her husband just wanted to do something nice for the community, they look forward to seeing everyone.

She said this will the first of many more shows to come for the people of Rehobeth.

Many people in the community are excited for the show, as they hope the Enfingers have more shows to come. It brings the community together, still follows CDC social distancing guidelines , and is great event to bring the family together and the kids to enjoy.

“I’m excited about the fireworks for tonight for the children especially the children and everybody else I hope people enjoy it, said a resident.”

Members of the community expressed their excitement, owners said this will be their first one.

The Enfingers said they decided to host the event because they wanted to show appreciation to their customers and Rehobeth community.

There will be parking officials to assist drivers with where to park.
