DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Construction along Ross Clark Circle near retail shops will not cause much of a headache Friday while shopping.

Most of the construction work on the Montgomery Highway is taking place on the side of the road for a retaining wall.

This week, the contractor has been working diligently to get all the driveways on the eastern side patched and repaved before the holiday weekend.

Although there are orange barrels out there still, the driveways into retail shops will be open.

There will be no lane closures or interruptions in traffic due to construction this weekend.

However, use caution when traveling through the construction area and stay alert. Expect more traffic than usual due to holiday shopping.
