DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A Dothan man is recovering Friday after being grazed by a bullet in a shots fired call Thursday night.

Shots rang out in a downtown Dothan neighborhood as one man was walking in front of the Chateau
Apartments at the intersection of Park Street and Sioux Street, when he heard gunshots.

The man then began to run towards a convenience store on Montgomery Highway, which is where he noticed a bullet had grazed his right leg.

Police believe that the shooting possibly occurred on the Sioux Street side of the apartments.

Once he got to the convenience store, the store clerk tells WDHN that he did not come in and buy anything from the store, but a car drove up and picked the man up and drove away.

There were no other recorded injuries. There were also no arrests made in the shooting nor any information on potential suspects.
