The largest food drive in the nation will begin starting Friday and through the weekend.

Mail carriers in more than 10,000 cities and towns across America will collect canned goods that are left by the mailbox to take to local food banks and pantries.

For the Wiregrass, you can help by putting your canned goods by the mailbox on Saturday.

According to Wiregrass Area Food Bank Assistant Director Julie Gonzalez, they are in more of a need this year after missing out the last two years because of COVID.

The Wiregrass Area Food Banks supplies food for 150 non-profits.
