State and local chambers of commerce assist Elba’s Chamber after fire last summer

News

Elba, Ala. (WDHN) — Elba’s Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Sandy Bynum-Williams, continues her search for a permanent home.

In July, a fire destroyed the century-old building off the Elba Downtown Square.

Since then, the State Chamber of Commerce along with Area Chambers from other Wiregrass cities have been lending a hand.

Opp Chamber of Commerce Chamber Director, Kelly Brandin, says what’s good for Elba is essentially good for all cities in the Wiregrass.

Right now, the Elba Chamber of Commerce is temporarily sharing space with a business off the downtown square.
