JACKSON COUNTY, Fla (WDHN) — Two Florida men were critically injured in a Halloween crash.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, on Tuesday, October 31, an SUV driven by an unidentified 56-year-old man from Marianna was heading southbound on State Road 73 when the driver attempted to pass a vehicle in a no-passing zone.

Troopers said when the SUV tried to pass the vehicle, it collided head-on with a truck heading southbound on the same road, causing the SUV to overturn.

The driver of the SUV and the driver of the truck, a 44-year-old man from Sneads, Florida, both sustained critical injuries in the crash.
