DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Wiregrass residents had the opportunity the get rid of documents safely while helping the community.
Participants were able to bring five boxes or bags filled with documents they needed shredded. Residents were encouraged to bring donations of food for the local food bank.
The Market President at SunSouth Bank, Mark O’Mary says this has been a difficult year for most people, so they’ll do anything to help and support the community.
“Today’s environment with identity theft and all kind of things like that, you really need to get rid of documents that have privacy information on this. It is good to get this done, O’Mary said.
O’Mary tells WDHN it’s a good feeling knowing your information is safely discarded while supporting the community.
