DALE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — After a string of car break-ins last week in the city of Daleville and Dale county, police now have three suspects in custody.
It all started when Daleville police got quite a few calls about cars being broken into, although some of those cars had been left unlocked. The three suspects are 21-year- old Marquise Hollins, 18- year-old Monqarius Cooper and 18-year-old Devin Mills.
They face 17 charges in Daleville — and six “Breaking and entering” charges in Ariton.
Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson and Daleville police chief Allen Medley said how making these arrests was a team effort.
“You know Dothan PD, Abbeville, and Headland you know without these guys it’s no telling where’d they’d be or what’d they do,” Medley said. “It’s really all about team work everybody working together for one common goal which is the good of the community,” Olson said.
Olson also said through help from the public that they’re able to solve these cases. It’s the community and law enforcement working together that gets it done.
