FLORALA, Ala. (WDHN)—This “Saturday” in Florala, the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce” will host its second-annual “Shop
the Blocks” along with Fifth Avenue Downtown.
More than three dozen food, arts, and crafts vendors will be set up in the area.
In recent years, this “border city” along the Alabama-Florida line with its rich history has become a “popular” destination during the Christmas season for many out-of-towners.
Chamber Director, Pat Strickland, is hoping for good weather Saturday to bring folks from as far away as Montgomery to the panhandle beaches’.
Florala’s merchants along Fifth Avenue look forward to “showcasing” their businesses during Saturday’s “Shop the Blocks”
and it would surely help a lot if the weather is beautiful.
