DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Dothan is getting a head start on Juneteenth celebrations.

At 7 p.m., the Tri-State Expo is putting on a ‘sax therapy’ jazz concert at the Dothan Opera House.

On the saxophone, you’ll hear the tunes from NAACP Image Award Recipient and Billboard Chart artist Jazmin Gent along with her background cast of local music artists.

“You can hear a variety of genres from jazz, R&B, Rock, and gospel,” Ghent said.

Gent said it’s going to be songs that you can sing and let loose to.

“Don’t look any further is one I love Aretha Franklin, you make me feel like a natural woman, maybe some before I let go we’ll see but just all of the songs that will get us to have a good time that’s what it’s all about.

Tickets for the show tonight range from 22-to-45 dollars depending on where you want to sit.
