This will be the fourth all-time meeting between the two schools and the first since a 66-7 Troy victory in 1995. The Trojans have dominated the series as they won the other two meetings by scores of 56-0 and 55-20 in 1993 and 1994, respectively.
The Buccaneers are coming off an 8-4 season, which included games at Vanderbilt and Georgia. Charleston Southern, which plays in the Big South Conference, is 18-7 over the past two seasons under the direction of head coach Jamey Chadwell. Charleston Southern enters the season ranked 24th in the Sporting News Preseason FCS Poll.
Season tickets for Troy’s five home games, as well as tickets for away games, are available for purchase online, via telephone or in person. Season ticket prices start as low as $50 for general admission seats and $100 for reserved seats.
