TV show “Alabama Upstarts” set to film in Dothan

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A show that airs on ABC will be filming in the Circle City next week.

The show “Alabama Upstarts”, is a launchpad for young entrepreneurs. It helps them meet Alabama residents who could possibly invest money and to help them with their business.

The show travels to different cities around the state. Next week, they will be filming at Health Center South in Dothan.

“We have a thousand dollar prize that’s given away there are three people that pitch per TV show and the investor judges pick the best of those three and they walk out of here with a thousand dollar check compliments of Mike Schmitz Automotive,” said Terry Duffie with Alabama Upstarts.
