Landmark Park is bringing history to life with special event

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) – Landmark Park is getting ready to host the Southeast Regional Conference for the Association of Living History, Farming and Agricultural Museum. ALHFAM is a fantastic organization of professionals, volunteers and enthusiasts who enjoy bringing history to life.

Attendees can expect field trips, hands-on workshops, educational sessions and much more at the three day event. The presenters will be coming from all around the country to share their skills and knowledge. Some of the presenters are traveling from Colonial Williamsburg, historical Brattonsville, as well as Texas and as far away as Washington state to share their skill set with those in attendance.

Anyone interested in history, learning new skills or just having a great time, is invited to take part. Registration ends Friday, February 14. To register, visit Landmark Park’s website at The cost to attend is $150-$160 for the full conference or $50-$60 for one day registration and with that you’re going to walk away with a lot of extra knowledge, not to mention good food as well.
