Vivian B. Adams School hosts edible gardening event

OZARK, Ala. (WDHN) – Join local experts, representatives from USDA, NRCS and Tuskegee University for an up to date information on how to create edible gardens.

This free community event will be held Thursday, February 27, at Vivian B. Adams School in Ozark from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. A light meal will be served so registration is required. To register, call (334) 618-5189 or email Susan Owens at for more information.

Mary Beth Shaddix is the special guest for the event. She is the founder and owner of “A New Leaf Consulting”; a company that helps national brands and media companies tell their stories. Shaddix’s work has been published in “Cooking Light”, “Southern Living”, “Garden and Gun”, “The Old Farmer’s Almanac” and has been featured on HGTV.
