DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Wiregrass Area Buddy Walk makes its return for the 15th year at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds.

March 18th, starting at 9 am the fundraiser held by the organization F.R.I.E.N.D.S. will be raising money for adults and children who have Down Syndrome.

Online registration is closed for the walk but the entry fee on the day of the walk is $5.

The goal for this year’s fundraiser is $60,000 and already the organization has raised nearly $50,000.
