OZARK, Ala. (WDHN) — Ozark officials gave businessowners the opportunity to rebound from 2020 with the 2021 Ozark Business, Health, and Job Expo.

The event was held at the Ozark Civic Center and was hosted by the Ozark Chamber of Commerce.

“Some of them are selling products, some are giving away goodies,” Ozark-Dale County Economic Development President, Holle Smith said. “It’s just a great way for businesses to let people know what they have and what they’re doing.”

From Spectracare to health and home care businesses, there was something for every resident.

“I’m really excited,” business owner Sharon Burch said. ” I’m glad that they were able to round up some minority businesses and small businesses and provide us with this opportunity.”

One business owner who struggled during the pandemic thinks the expo is a step in the right direction.

“It’s been a trying year and I think we’re finally coming on to the other side of it so we’re excited for everyone to come out and visit us,” business owner Sylvia Ambrose said.

She said this is also the perfect time to support your local businesses.

On top of baby clothes, all things swim, and vintage items residents were also able to get vaccinated.
