DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — WDHN is proud to recognize Dereck Womack as a Rising Hero!
Dereck, a retired Dothan police officer, now farms full-time for RJ Farms.
Each day, he helps grow anything from watermelons, to peas and peanuts and many more vegetables.
Family members say he sometimes works seven days a week to make sure the food is grown and sent out to everyone’s tables.
